“Certainly, a mosque founded on righteousness from the first day is more worthy of your prayers. In it are men who love to be purified. And Allah loves those who purify themselves.” [9:108].

Praying in Masjid Quba is an act of immense reward. The Prophet (PBUH) regularly visited the mosque after settling in Medina. He often walked or rode there on Saturdays to offer prayers, and he encouraged others to do the same. It is reported that the Prophet (PBUH) said, 

“Whoever purifies himself in his house, then goes to Masjid Quba and prays therein, he will have a reward like that of Umrah” [Sunan Ibn Majah 1412].
